VII Rural Community Assembly in Tomsk region

VII Rural Community Assembly is held on 2-4 April 2019 in Tomsk region. This is unique open space for experience exchange and discussions related to the most relevant problems of agriculture. The Assembly has been held in Tomsk region since 2012; leading regional, national and foreign experts participate in this event on a regular basis.

The Agenda of Rural Community Assembly in Tomsk region includes panel discussions, seminars, expert sessions, workshops and exhibitions.

The participants from the leading national and international companies, experts from Germany, the Netherlands and France, big agricultural holdings, agricultural enterprises, farms, regional and local authorities and civil servants related to agricultural sphere,  representatives of research Institutes, Universities and Public organizations are expected to take part in the Assembly. The expected number of participants is more than 500.

The participants of the biggest agricultural regional forum will take part in the discussions “Agricultural cooperation as a way of development”, and “Rural areas: new view”; the panel discussion is devoted to the urgent topics as “Staff for the future: what to teach and how to teach?”;  the workshops cover the following topics: “Innovative solutions in dairy agribusiness” and “Veterinary security as a factor of sustainable development of rural areas”; expert discussion highlights “Digital exposure: brainstorming”. The programme assumes study trips to agricultural enterprises.

The results of Rural Community Assembly would be summarized at the plenary meeting “New challenges in rural development: capacities and practices of taking efficient solutions”.

In 2019 VII Rural Community Assembly follows other events that take place from February to April. The events include: School of Farmers and Leaders, Strategic Session on the national project “International cooperation and export”, recommendations and guidance from the Association of Holstein Cattle breeding,  meeting of experts on Horticulture, workshop on the problems of apiculture development, Precision Farming (U.NOVUS), and workshops on cheese producing and dairy cattle breeding from the experts from France and the Netherlands.

The Administration of Tomsk region organizes the exhibition “Science in Tomsk for agribusiness” on 2-4 April 2019.
